MY LITTLE “MAGIC” SECRET

More than a friend on Tumblr has asked me about my drawing and painting technique; Well, it couldn't be simpler: COLORED PENCILS and a BLACK PEN; As you can see in the photograph, I have a complete set of colored pencils (some already very worn by use, such as skin color, green and brown).

For a work surface I love letter paper or cardboard, where the pencil slides very easily; the black pen is used to define the lines and details; then I scan them and do the final touches with PAINT and PHOTOIMPACT, and then... BINGO!!

How do I get inspired? it is there where the music of The BEATLES and ABBA play their part; I listen to the songs and the ideas immediately come to my mind; the drawing emerges MAGICALLY!! (You can see in every draw made BEATLES and ABBA lyrics; I generally put the song that inspired me in that moment).

I might as well put art I still like from a number of years ago on here, since I haven't been making much art lately.

Here's my 1st digital drawing of my oldest character Zircon, from 2008. I'd made him a year before so I already considered him an old character haha.
