Romance At Home by Jeff Schreier Via Flickr: Looking to produce a shot for the Alabama The Beautiful conest, "Romance," and NAPG contest, "Home Sweet, Home." Lessons learned: #1 My wife walked in as I was setting up this shot. Remember this is the day before Valentine's day. She lets out a gasp only to find out this is staged for a shot. The water was ice cold, the bubbles were created with dish detergent, and the wine is food coloring in water. I hope I can make it up to her tomorrow. #2 I just learned I could set a custom WB on my camera. I did this pointing towards this shot and it was better than the camera gave me, but when I set the camera in the shot and set the WB from within the scene it was awesome!

Quinten on Flickr.
Quinten is one of the warmest places in Switzerland. Being situated at the sunny side of Lake Walen, even figs and kiwi grow here. Quinten is part of the muncipality of Quarten. Like Quarten (4) and nearby village Terzen (3), Quinten (5) has its name from a medieval farm census.
