You were my calm breeze,
Comforting me with your hugs and kisses.
You made my gloomy days a colorful one,
As you whispered those sweet words to me one by one.
I was like a mad wave in the ocean,
You were like a setting sun,
Kissing me to ease my raging mood
And turning me into a calm abode.
As we fell apart and watched you walk away,
I know you followed your right pathway,
A pathway that is away from the toxic me,
So you could finally be free.
I am still here at our favorite place,
A place where I can be at peace,
A place where sunsets and waves meet each other,
Where someday I can bring another.
The moments we built together
Will remain memories forever,
