Bad news:

Laptop has encountered more issues, I’ve managed to fix it but it’s on it’s last legs. Final straw has been the battery dying and since it’s a custom laptop, the replacement is super pricey. Numerous bluescreens of death and crashes have made it difficult to use Skyrim.

Good News:

 I’m hoping to replace it with a new desktop by the end of Jan. Hopefully even better quality screenshots will be incoming! It’ll also mean I can continue with Photos of the Wasteland as Fallout refuses to co-operate with this laptop.

I’ve revamped the theme at Photosoftamriel. I’ve also added support for Disqus comments! Take a look, any feedback is welcome.

Laptop is currently stable, Skyrim + Morrowind are currently working for me at the moment. So I’ll continue to post photos from those games. Any requests are appreciated and will be promptly filled. These save me time on having to adventure around before finding a good subject!

are you playing through steam / what computer do you have?

Yep on Steam. It’s a custom built laptop with an Intel Core i5-4300M, Nvidia Geforce Gtx 765m, 8gb ram and I’m running Windows 7. Might be worth nothing, I’m sure I’ve had this problem with Skyrim before and fixed it easily. But never has it been all Bethesda games or taken me this long to figure it out...

@Iiterallybyronic tried this before/deleted them, the ini’s all have Intel gpu. Change them to Nvidia card and save then relaunch and then they go through the scanning process and back to low quality and intel cards on the game’s launchers.

Sorry for the delay in posts, I recently began experiencing stuttering in Skyrim. So after reinstalling mods, enbs, graphics drivers etc. I fix the stuttering.... but now all Bethesda games are only viewing my Intel drivers. I’ve managed to use the optimus fix with an enb for Skyrim, yet Oblivion/Fallout is still detecting Intel. I’ve ensured Nvidia runs for these applications etc but no dice. Wondering if any of my followers might have a fix for this problem?
