So I was talking about geese with my friend and she said "did you know that.. goose..uh.... 'spoon'? people?" And she actually meant "peck" because she directly translated the term "menyudu" which apparently means "to peck" in Malay but could also literally mean "to spoon" as in with a physical spoon. And thus the topic drastically changed from honking avian animals to cuddling with cutlery
