Man! Harry has been preaching a lot. Instead of saying how much young people are on the phone a lot. How about offer a suggestion of how to change that. I'm so tired of him lately. He doesn't think but he speaks. He's needs to start changing this behavior it's getting tiresome. By the way he didn't think of. I would've told him if I ever met him. How much time do you spend on the phone with meghan? He didn't think of that when he was lecturing about phones
Yeah I was side-eyeing that quote too… esPECIALLY cause apparently he said it was bad for your mental health? I still have some of those articles bookmarked to read up on because I didn’t have the time back then but if he did say that he’s completely oblivious to the amount of support people get from the internet.
But even if he didn’t speak of it in regards to mental health, saying something like that is pretty superficial and doesn’t go into WHY people do it and indeed, as you said, give any suggestions or something… except for “look around”
Thanks anon
what really pissed me off about Harry's interview wasn't the "no one wants to be king" comment (even though admitting that out loud was so beyond stupid, and threw Will under the bus as well). It was his comment about doing his own shopping. "People would be amazed by the ordinary life William and I live. I do my own shopping". He thinks doing your own shopping constitutes normality. I s2g this comment showed me just how far removed he is from normal life.
I’ll believe he knows “normal” when he’s tried to figure out how to pay rent with his paycheck, or debated in the grocery store whether he can afford some of the fruits because they’re out of season and very expensive, or struggled to pay his kids school tuition’s (how much is eton per term again? 30,000?). Harry would hate normalcy. part 2
I’m pretty sure him doing his own shopping was just one example he gave and there is still a difference between having experiences like everyone else and trying “to have a relatively normal life“. (which is what he said)
Doing his own shopping adds to leading a relatively normal life, having others do his shopping for him would cut him off from reality even more than he already is. He’s not pretending he’s a commoner like you and I.
But I understand your frustrations, I honestly do, there are some struggles he’ll never know.
