her eyes were wide, hands were shaking and her heart beating loudly that she was sure that the man in front of her could hear every beat it made, at the very sight of... him. her hatred and anger surfacing but honestly, she wasn’t even sure why he still had this effect on her when all he did was hurt her, break her and shred her heart into pieces. he chose to neglect her, leave her as she bore their─no, it was no longer his but it was only her child and no one else’s. he had no right over her son, she believed. he left her as the whole world turned against her. the shame and embarrassment she received from her parents, the look on their faces when they found out that their sweet daughter tainted their family’s reputation.
it was because of him that she was locked out, if only─if only he was there to be her anchor but no, she had to face everything and now he was here, standing in front of her. her eyes narrowed at the very sight of the man who ruined her life and the very same man who chose to abandon his child. what right did he have to be here? the audacity. how can he face her and why come now? he was too late, a year ago late. “what the hell are you doing here?” her voice was soft yet stern enough to make him understand that his presence was no longer welcomed, that she and her son no longer needed him; a father and significant other.
quickly, oh so quickly did she close the door behind her, leaving her son inside as their caretaker took care of minkyung. “how did you find this place? you are not supposed to be here.” her voice almost cracked but she knew she had to be strong. you left me. you left me. you left me. you left me. it played inside her head repeatedly like a broken record and her knuckles turned white. “leave right now. you are no longer needed and no, if you’re gonna ask me if you could see him, my answer is no. we’re fine on our own.”
