The first two photographs were littered with watermarks; took quite some time in cleaning them up. One was just over Fred's eye, and thus couldn't be removed completely.

The first picture is my favourite. Glad to see Phyllis in a different expression.

Fred Astaire and his wife Phyllis shortly after arriving in Hollywood in 1933 to begin his career in films. They drove him straight from the airport to MGM studios to make a quick appearance alongside Joan Crawford and Clark Gable in the movie Dancing Lady, before starting his contract at RKO. Just a few days prior, the couple had tied the knot in New York.
