Ok. Let me explain this.
For a while now, the idea to create my own world has been swirling in my head. Though there are some seriously fantastic worlds out there, many of them miss one thing or the other that would make it the perfect world for me. Moreover (and this may sound a little bit masochistic), it is also somewhat attractive to me to create something big and complex and consistent from the ground up. After all, landscaping and building is what I enjoy most about the game.
With all that in mind I finally put thought into action and worked on some concept maps for this maybe-someday-to-be-world. For now I came up with two drafts, one for a single core and the other for a double core world. Both would be on a medium-large scale and I plan to include content from all the EPs. The worlds would get a western European design (after all, this is what I know best) and are inspired on existing topography. I am still working on two different maps (one for each concept), so I can end up mixing and matching the things I like best. However, I already wanted to share these with you guys. Creating a world is no small feat and everyone looks for something different in a world.
So to you all the question (which can be answered without these drafts in mind), what do you look for in a good world?
