I do wish that reality shifters would stop using the physical shifter tags.
Physical shifter is not for reality shifting, it is for folk who physically shapeshift. Same with p shift and p shifter.

Hello there! Here’s some questions about p-shifting if that’s alright!
How do you know when you’re p-shifting?
Is it true that fight or flight is the only way to shift?
I’ve heard attempting to p-shift is a very real experience and some creatures/shifters get results from it, but I’m curious as to how you create your own method and what works for you?
Thanks!!
Hello again!
1) I can tell because the area that is transforming will start to tingle and/or cramp(?).
2) I would disagree with that because that's never been my experience. In fact, I'm usually only able to transform at all when I'm relaxed.
3) I have no method because I cannot control it lol. It happens when it happens and I just have to be okay with it (which I usually am).
And no problem!
Hi! Werewolf here who has yet to fully p-shift. I’ve only have had a few partial shifts.
I was wondering if you’ve ever p-shifted? What’s it like and how has it affected your view on life? Is it true that our animal forms fur matches our hair color? Thanks in advance!
Hi hi hi!!! I have, but I am unable to fully transform.
I find the experience very satisfying overall. If it's been particularly long since a shift, I feel very pent up. The shift is a release of that tension. However, shifting itself is an uncomfortable and somewhat painful process. I've seen others describe the pain as extreme, but it's never been that bad for me. That could be because it's never a full-body thing for me though.
As for how it's affected my life, I'm not sure what to say. It does not happen frequently. I will say that my first transformation that I had since my childhood was a very eye-opening and confusing experience for me. But I think, socially, it was beneficial. It was comforting to find others with an ability to physically change because I felt united with them in a way, even if our experiences were different.
For your last question, in my experience, no. My "natural" hair color (brown) is quite different from any of my fur.
Sorry this took me a bit to get to!
is there any way to learn to physically shift or is it an ability you're born with?/genq
I'm not sure if there are ways to learn. I know for me it's an ability I was born with due to my biology. The most simple way for me to put it without diving into all my theories is that my cells are unstable, which means my body is capable of physically changing.
I also would just always be wary of people who tell you they can teach you how to, so I'm not sure if there would be a way to learn.
When I told youtube I'm able to physically shift/tranform, I saw a lot of people asking me to do it on camera or saying that if I was telling the truth I'd record it. I don't like that, and I don't know how to explain to everyone why I wouldn't.
1) t's insanely personal to me. To me, that's like asking for my personal information or telling me to get naked on camera. Transforming is turning into the truest, rawest version of myself. It's not some party trick.
2) I can't control it and it doesn't happen very often.
3) It's never been my first instinct to grab my phone to record something. Not to mention the discomfort I feel when transforming kind of occupies my thoughts.
4) I'm worried about them finding it and there being consequences for me showing that ability to the public. Even saying it scares me, but with all the other things they say, they probably would convince the public that I'm just mentally ill and shouldn't be believed.
5) I'm afraid people would lie to me in the comments. Saying that they can't see it, or even worse, asking for further "evidence."
6) I don't owe anyone anything. My experience is real whether others can see it or not.
I do regret talking about it on there at times. I feel like it wasn't the right demographic to tell about it. But I'm not going back on it because, well, it's sort of too late for that and it's also something factual that I wouldn't lie and say "just kidding!" about...
Oh, how I yearn for a night in the woods. I should probably go camping sometime. I want to lay in my den, with nothing but the breeze, insects, and frogs to hear as I fall into slumber. Oh I wish I could just fully shift, and run off into the woods for a night. Maybe I will one day...
Oh okay so claws are happening right now
