Shit that actually gives me psychic damage is people believing that big rock structures like the pyramids and whatnot are capable of moving energy on the same level as CERN. Like dear god learn what conductivity is and don't stop until you fully understand why big chunky rocks are dogshit at conducting electricity.

Not to mention the sheer time the whole trip would take, which is only going to take longer if you insist on sending up fuel pods at first.  Do the math, break it into a hundred pieces; still takes just as much energy if you neglect other factors that only make it take MORE.

Oh and asides from station keeping, there’s energy lost to air resistance in sending it up (50 rockets of the same shape each with 1/50th of the mass is well over 50 times as much air resistance since, given the same shape and dimensional ratios of two object of different sizes, air resistance is proportional to area on the side pushing through the air and area by that measure does not scale as fast as mass does)

Learning about ideal gases in physics. Learning the Chem friendly equation and the physics friendly equation. Question in class ten minutes later: "what is kB?" I melted into my chair, I couldn't even look at my professor. Tip: if you're a bio premed, you need to be pro, not slow.
