to all artists painting the same thing over and over and to all writers writing the same story over and over
My parents think my response to when a women asked me the following question question is why stopped being pursued in my Catholic community. It was a lighthearted discussion but maybe they are right lol. Although every single happily Godly married couple who I asked this question to (seperately from each other) has given the same response, my parents included.
So, the question:
If you were/are married, assuming no major caveats (sickness, broken leg, just got done with an 18hr shift, very pregnant) if your spouse randomly woke you up at 3am and asked you to make them a sandwich, would you do it?
Man: would not
Woman: would not
Man: would
Woman: would

No nuance button because nuances is already baked in. We are assuming both spouses are able to make a sandwich (nobody is in a full-body cast or had brain cancer or whatever).
AND NO NASTINESS
Edit: or if you were hypothetically married. As I am not and I know my answer
DNI except on party business
"Your Christianity shouldn't interfere with your political views" lol. It should and it has and it will forever
You can want people reformed while also acknowledging that some form of punishment is necessary. Some people do in fact need to be punished. Some people cannot be rehabilitated. That doesn't mean removing their human dignity. You can urge them to center their souls to Christ in hope for eternal salvation while also realizing that they should never again be allowed free access to society at large. "Love the sinner" does not mean "there are no earthly consequences". Nor does it mean to not give justice to those who have been wronged. In fact, we should seek out justice. To not do so in the name of always thinking we can "rehabilitate" everyone is at best foolish and at worst wicked.
My friend who is 8 months pregnant is in the hospital now with high blood pressure. I don't know any other details. She had already lost her first child at 9 months. I am begging for prayers for both her and her child's safety
Power, authority, and hierarchy are at the core supposed to be used to give service and protection, not get it. This goes for husbands, wives, kids, and literally everything else. This is one rather large reason why the world is a mess right now
