His fist connected with the machine he was fighting against. Followed by another. And another. There was blood on it from him, but it didn’t stop his attacks from coming faster and faster. His intensity increased until with a final punch--hard enough to dent the machine--he stopped. Gabriel merely stood there with sweat dripping from his face as he panted tiredly.
Slowly, he looked over his shoulder at the reason he had come to such an abrupt stop. He might not have heard the door open, but he saw the slide of it and given that he was the only person in the gym, there was a solid chance that whoever came in was looking for him. It was nice to know he wasn’t wrong.
“I know, I need a better coping method. What can I do for you, Kat?”
