Doodlebug [Lillie & Angelo]
@theberetguy
Lillie couldn’t help but feel a little lost in life. Up until now, she’d been so dedicated to her job the Leuda Broadcasting that she hardly afforded herself the luxury of thinking of anything else. But the people in her life had her second-guessing herself now, and she honestly felt a little bit bad about it.
What was something Lillie could do for herself? Not for anyone else, but herself... That was so hard to find alone. And then that something had to be freeing and bring her joy? Geez... Way to make it tough on her.
She knew her friend and roommate Tina worked at Leuda Publishing, though Lillie had never actaully been there herself. Tina seemed to be living life to her fullest, so maybe Lillie could find something like that for herself there too. She could only open.
She headed inside and looked around, taking in the peaceful atmosphere. Near the entrance was a young man who appeared to be drawing something. Lillie’s curiosity got the better of her and she went to check it out.
Her eyes widened as she saw whatever he was drawing.
“So beautiful...” she couldn’t help but say. Then she realized she had indeed said that out loud. Her cheeks flushed and she glanced up from the drawing to the artist himself. “O-oh, um... Hello.”
