•｡ ❀ 𝒜methyst eyes opened, brimming with tears, to vast darkness engulfing the bedroom - with the exception of the moonlight bleeding through the curtain covering the open window. ~ Deep breath in, deep breath out. ~ She reigned herself in from the turbulent seas she was adrift in - escaping the nightmare wreaking havoc on her slumber. Siluka awakened once again with the same dream that haunts her memories, albeit their origin remained unbeknownst to her; however, it still seemed authentic - so real to feel and so true to the touch; alas, it was a fragment of her reality that she could not figure out how to piece into this life she was existing within.

𝒪utside her window, the priestess heard the flowers beckon for her - the sea call out her name; it was enough for the sleepy girl to arise from her bed and exit through the rear of the café that faced the ocean - to feel her twin flame flickering in the distance.

•｡ ✩ Last night would be one of many nights to remember, he thought, for his most recent memory was of him falling asleep on Leuda and - much to his surprise - waking up on Arcadia. If he were totally honest, he recollected little about the evening prior of debauchery - but the free-spirited young man must have had a great time if he ended up across the ocean in one piece; alas, he was pretty hungry when we woke up, and he was not the most familiar with the landscape here. Nonetheless, it would be an adventure in and of itself to find a place that offered up some warm grub for his warm - and empty - belly.

Thankfully, it was not too long until he came across the Carosello Café - walking up the platform to the restaurant that stood over the sea and admiring the beautiful scenery. And by scenery, he meant who he presumed was one of the waitresses here - revealing a fair amount of skin - who wore a two-piece pink attire and an intricate hairstyle of purple braids.

“Hiya.” Rock greeted her with a playful smirk. “Is it safe to say you work here? It’s open, yeah?”

Walking into Celestia Church, Lily was immediately struck by the beauty of the high ceilings and stained glass windows, as well as the general architecture of the building. She had always been fascinated by churches, especially religious art and statues, so she couldn’t wait to take a closer look once she had learned about the church and religion itself. 

Lily herself had never been particularly religious, but it was something she loved to learn about. With the churches here offering blessings and wishes, she was particularly skeptical, but still open-minded.

Firstly, she had to find someone to ask her questions to. She figured that her best bet would be to flag down someone that worked here. With no service currently occurring, it was relatively quiet, but she spotted a woman that didn’t look as though she was here to pray or be granted a blessing. 

She went over. “Do you work here?” she asked. “I’m not from around here, and I have some questions about the Church.”

Part of Kana’s routine after coming back to Arcadia was exploring the island and checking out all the new establishments that weren’t there before-- and damn, there were a ton! Juggling three jobs gave him a bit of cash, but with his awful spending spree, it wasn’t helping much. Still, that didn’t stop him from continuing his routine, and this time around, marked a seaside cafe on his map. The concept alone was enough to reel him in, so as soon as he was available and had the cash to spend, he trekked to the seaside cafe for an early lunch. 

Once ha arrived, he couldn’t help but marvel at the aesthetics of the cafe. It was exactly what one would expect from a cafe by the sea, but now that he’s actually here, he’s absolutely digging the vibe. He already expected to find a ton of seafood and fruity dishes but he could smell a whole lot more-- and he wasn’t eating yet!

“Mornin’!” He greeted the first person to greet him upon entering. She was a cutie dressed traditionally in bright colors of pink and purple. He wasn’t familiar with the culture, but her look matched the cafe. Did she work here? Maybe a waitress? “Hope it’s not too early to grab a bite?”

Keep Calm and Curry On || Dirk & Iluka

[ ✉ ] — Since Kana insisted on treating the place’s signature curry dish like a god given gift to Arcadia... Dirk, being the curry connoisseur he was, absolutely HAD to check it out for himself. 

Even though he had lived on the island his entire life, Dirk had never really visited Carosello Cafe before. The place was just too out of the way for him--- it wasn’t on his delivery route, nor was it on his very limited list of dining options: his kitchen, or the Moonlight Cafe, where he worked. And what did they have in common? Well, for starters, both were cheap and easily accessible.

Doesn’t mean he couldn’t switch up his routine every once in a while, though! So he decides to do just that, and have a taste of that delicious coconut curry Kana loved to gush about. He was interested in checking out the cute chef too, who had also been brought up by his best bro a few times. But as Dirk steps into the cafe, he pauses when he catches sight of a familiar face. 

She was wearing pink instead of blue this time, but he was pretty sure it was the same girl... 

“Yo, Sleeping Beauty!” Dirk waves at her. “You came for the food, too? Heard it was great.”

Sugar and Spice || Felicity & Iluka

[ ♥ ] — Felicity had just completed a full course meal at the Carosello Cafe, sighing contently as she pats her stomach. Salads, soups, desserts, beverages... all of it had been absolutely delicious! It was common for restaurants to perform better with certain categories of dishes while leaving a lot to be desired with others, but the chef in this restaurant had managed to excel all across the board.

She had no complaints about any of the food she just ate, and felt the need to give the chef responsible her own personal compliments and thanks for such a wonderful meal. Fortunately, that wouldn’t be too difficult to do, since it seemed the cafe was managed by only one woman. One!

That just made her even more impressed!

When the woman didn’t look so busy with work, and nears her table again, Felicity politely calls for her. “Excusez-moi, madame! May I please have a moment of your time~?”

Dog Moms || Iluka & Georgia

[🐎] — Georgia often had to take the dogs in her pet shop out for walks, so that they could stretch their legs and get the space and fresh air they needed. Almost always was she with an animal, but thanks to her work and other circumstances, lately Georgia hasn’t been able to spend as much time with her own darling baby as she wanted.

And because of it, her five month old pug puppy was starting to feel a little neglected, and was acting out because of it. Muku had always been an energetic boy, but now it was starting to get to a level that was more troublesome than cute, and Georgia had to do something about it.

So on her off day, she had gone out to one of Arcadia’s walking parks, intent on spending a day full of fun, games, and training with her darling Muku.

“Muku! Fetch, boy!” She yells to the puppy, throwing a ball for him to catch and bring back to her. They had been doing this for the better part of an hour, and everything was going well so far... except for this time, when the ball she throws doesn’t land on the ground, or even Muku’s mouth. 

But instead hits a passerby right in the arm, a tanned girl with long purple hair. 

“O-oh, sorry!” Georgia sputters out an apology, rushing over to the girl with Muku right on her heels. “Are you alright!? I... I didn’t break anything, did I?”
