Prompt: Winter Arrives

When the people of both Arcadia and Leuda wake up on the morning of December 1st, they will find a thick layer of white covering the ground outside, with a gentle but steady snowfall that only promises more in the days to come. 

With this new development, one thing has become abundantly clear to anyone witnessing it: winter has finally come to the archipelago.

Because of the weather conditions, the schools and most businesses are closed for the day. How do your muses react?

Will they go out and play in the snow? Build snowmen, start a snowball fight?

Watch the beautiful snowfall with a friend or loved one?

Stay at home and watch holiday movies, or maybe use this newly found free time to put up holiday decorations?

They could do all of that, plus more! It’s all up to your imaginations, friends. Feel free to have your muses respond to the first snowfall in any way you want them to, whether it be through a closed post, open post, plotted thread with someone, or a response to this very post!

As the month continues, a plethora of celebrations and events will also be held! Alongside Leuda’s breathtaking Light Display and the Starry Night holiday on Arcadia, there will be different community events going on throughout the month, so keep an eye out! Why not think about starting on your holiday shopping early, and buying those special gifts for your loved ones?

Inside Lily’s signature pink diamond necklace that she is rarely seen without, there is a small version of her parent’s wedding photo, one of the only remaining pictures she still has of her mother. Despite her countless aunts, uncles and cousins that she left behind in the small village she grew up in, and despite having no real memories of her mother, she still considers the locket to contain her true family.

Prompt: A Long Awaited Sunrise

The conclusion to this prompt.

When morning arrives, the islanders no doubt expect to be met with the same dreary skies they’ve seen for the last two months, the dark clouds seeming like an almost permanent fixture in the once beautiful skies of the archipelago.

Fortunately, those expectations are wrong.

Instead of oppressing darkness, rays of morning light shine through open windows, buildings, trees and open pastures are slowly illuminated by a gentle, spreading glow, and morning joggers and walkers are enveloped by the warmth of the long-awaited, rising sun. 

The clouds of darkness and death that had become so constant are long gone, only to be replaced by the shining sun and blue skies of a brand new day.

OOC Note: With the defeat of Shadow, the sun has returned to the Pelago Islands after two months! Because of this, it will be listed in the weather conditions normally again, and people can go on with their regular lives in brighter atmospheres and spirits! Feel free to have your characters react to this!

Prompt: Perpetual Night

Now that the summon spirit Shadow -- who was once possessing Evelyn -- has escaped, he has relocated to the highest point of Mt. Reineir on Arcadia. With his powers returned, and the strong rune energy of the mountain bolstering them, Shadow has cast a blanket of darkness in the skies over Leuda and Arcadia. While it’s not so noticeable at night, the daytime sky will be darkened from this point on. To most citizens, it will most likely appear as a strange bout of dark, cloudy weather.

This will only change once Shadow is either defeated or entered into a pact with a Summoner-class character. If he’s simply defeated by a group of warriors, then he will retreat to one of the islands out in the archipelago. That will stop the danger for the time being, but will not completely get rid of the threat. If he is subdued by a Summoner, then he will enter into a pact with them and stop wreaking havoc entirely.

As he plans on getting his revenge on humans, Shadow will destroy one building every few days until someone takes him on. If you want to volunteer your business or home to get rekt, then message the main and tell us! We won’t just randomly do things without people’s consent. Otherwise, inactive businesses or ones without owners/bosses will be mainly targeted.

Feel free to react to any developments that arise from this! If you’re not interested in directly involving yourself with Shadow, then nothing in your threads and interactions have to drastically change! Just know that from this point on until Shadow is defeated and we say otherwise, there will be no sunny days in PI. As far as your muses are concerned, each day will be incredibly dark and cloudy.

Rebuilding

After the tragic circumstances revolving around the sudden dragon attack on the island of Arcadia, the citizens are left to wonder how repairs will be made. Well, wonder no longer! 

Thanks to a generous offer from the Funland Foundation, Alice has offered to put up the funds and materials necessary to pay for repairs to the local businesses put out of commission. Funland will be putting forth the funds in the form of a loan, which must be paid back by the owners of each business. Once the loan has been paid back, control of the property will be transferred back to the owners. 

Of course, your character does not have to become indebted to Funland. If they have the funds to repair their damaged property (matching the cost that Funland would pay) PLUS provide the materials to do so (which will be listed below), then they can do the repairs themselves. However, that may take more time... 

Here is a list of needed materials to gather in order to make the repairs on your own:
