So ever since the opening of the amusement park on Leuda, I’ve been really wanting to go and check it out! Work has kept me rather busy, though, and I haven’t really had a chance to until now. And I would also prefer it if there was someone to accompany me when I do, as I would feel much more comfortable with a companion to share in the fun with.

Active Mission: Shadows Over the Sea

REQUEST BOARD: Explorer’s Guild

DATE OF REQUEST: October 2, 2017

LOCATION: Tower of the Gods

CLASSES REQUIRED: No classes are strictly required, though proficiency in fighting is highly recommended

NUMBER OF PEOPLE: One to initially take the request and up to three others to accompany them

REWARD: 10,000G for each participant

DETAILS: There have been strange reports surfacing from merchant ships passing by the Tower of the Gods. While the tower is usually a beautiful sight to see, a strange darkness has befallen the island. The very top of the island has been shrouded in a large cloud of smoke that casts a long shadow over the island and the surrounding waters. Since the Tower of the Gods is contains an altar to the gods, a lot of people consider this to be an ill omen and nobody will dare scale the tall tower to potentially brave that wrath. The Explorer’s Guild is calling upon a group of individuals to investigate this phenomenon. They ask that the group be prepared for anything that could happen up there...

Welcome to the first active mission we’ve hosted in a little while. For those of you new to the group, Active Missions (and Inactive Missions, which can be found on the minigames page of the main) are special plot-related missions to either further the general plot of the islands (yes, there’s a plot somewhere) or to expand the world of the islands. IN ORDER TO RESERVE THIS MISSION, JUST MESSAGE THE MAIN! You will have A WEEK to gather your team (which can be any size) and MESSAGE THE MAIN AGAIN FOR THE FULL MISSION TO BE MADE AVAILABLE. The group will not need to roll to make it to the mission, they can just start off at whatever point they want. If you do not contact the main a week after you place your reserve, then the active mission will be made open again. As always, it is first come, first serve.

Because of the importance of this mission, THERE WILL BE A TIME LIMIT OF ONE MONTH to complete the mission after the full mission has been posted. That means that if one month has passed after the full mission has been posted, the group will either have to post what they have (only if the main mission has been resolved and the finishing touches of the rp are unfinished) or the mission will be automatically revoked and opened up to a new group to attempt the mission 100% fresh, as if the previous group had not even made an attempt. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN YOU RESERVE AND JOIN THIS MISSION.

Details: Hey. Jake here. So I’ve recently purchased ownership of the arena over on Bellicose, and I’m looking for some employees. You don’t need any lengthy resumes or distinguished pedigrees or anything like that, but you better at least know what you’re doing, and be willing to work. I’m currently looking to hire someone as manager, so they can watch over things in the case that I can’t. As well as other employees-- people to take tickets, arrange the brackets, work in the medical tents, run the food stands... plenty of positions, but no asses butts in the seats.

Details: Hello, hello! I’m sure you’ve already heard of me, but I’ll introduce myself anyway: I am Max de Sainte-Coquille, and I would like to make an important request of whoever may read and find interest in this.

As I’m sure you’re aware, I am a very busy man. I own and manage several businesses on the island of Leuda, as well as one on Arcadia, and I am often away from home because of it. With the passing of time and the increase in my workload, I don’t find myself with much free time these days, and even less so to spend with my darling Princess... my cat, Mona.

I worry about her greatly while I’m away, and it would ease my conscience to know that someone was watching over and protecting her in my absence. That is why I would like to hire a sitter... or rather, catsitter, for times when I’m exceptionally busy. If I deem you worthy enough to care for my Princess, you will be sent a check of 3,000G every two weeks, for as long as you have the job.

REWARD: An awesome, uneventful airship ride!

DETAILS: The Explorer’s Guild has finally fixed up that airship that was found many months ago. Man, that sure took long, didn’t it? Anyway, the guild has decided that they wanted to try using the airship for voyages in the future! However...they still need to test out the airship to see if everything’s 100% okay with it. So the Explorer’s Guild is asking a kind group of people to take a ride on the airship’s first ever test ride! It’s sure to be a boring, uneventful ride. But hey, it’s an airship. Who the hell would turn that down?
