Talking to Boys - Dorothy & Aaron

Since Aaron started working at Celestia Church, Dorothy hadn’t had much interaction with him. Now that she was the boss, as her father pointed out, she really had to do a better job of speaking with the other members of the church. Even if they were male.
While Dorothy knew her Papa was just trying to help her become a better leader, the greenette still felt a bit sore about being scolded. She had never been good with criticism.
Sighing softly, she hugged tighter onto Fern before she strode back inside the church. She had to work today anyway, she just.. Had to make sure that she went out of her way to check up on their newest member.
As soon as she spotted the elf, she felt the nervousness over take her, but forced herself to shuffle over to him.
“G-Good morning, Aaron.” her voice was soft and quiet, but she thought he would still probably hear her at least. This felt awkward, though. She was never good at making conversation. “H-How are you uhm... S-Settling in? I-Is the work g-going okay...?”
She peeked up at him from behind Fern, wondering if she was coming off as anxious and nervous as she was feeling. Some days, it seemed like she would never get over her crippling shyness.
