something between and arrangement or remix and an inspired-by.  more FFVII music, of course~

so.... 'interrupted by fireworks' has basically always been one of my top favourite ffvii pieces, one of my top favourites to play on piano, and something that's influenced my music a lot!  (I think I've written something relaxing inspired by this piece at least three times…) recently I did a piano version of this x 'midnight rendezvous' from the remake score.  

but, demonstrating that I have just always had this tune on the brain, this is a midi piece that I wrote back in 2003, very closely based on nobuo uematsu's track — almost like an alternate version.  I think I imagined it to be for the Cloud / Yuffie date because I sometimes shipped them or something~ 

I made this video to test out MIDITrail, a lovely free software for making these things.  I'm not demonstrating anything like what it can do, which can involve a lot of zooming around if you want!
