SMILING CRITTERS:

Dogday: First sees a dog when the authorities first arrive after Angel calls 911. Didn't get much of a chance to interact, but some weeks later when out for a walk with Angel and some others, he ends up seeing a neighbor with his dog, who IMMEDIATELY goes towards Dogday because of his vanilla smell. He pets the little baby and is immediately in love, he is a dog person even before the whole BBI thing. Probably gets close to tears with petting the random dog;

Catnap: Straight up started beefing with the neighborhood's cats two days after starting living with Angel. At first he was curious because WOAH, an actual cat!!!! Kitty cat!!!! And then the thing bit him and he felt personally offended. How dare it. After a few weeks of beefing he ended up bonding with the other cats, and Delight does end up leaving him as the #1 babysitter for her own cat, so...

Bubba Bubbaphant: Sees an elephant at the zoo the first time when he's still on the first recovering stages of escaping PlayCo, so his reaction is just... "Oh". He's curious, observes the elephants for a little while, but ultimately isn't interested and straight up starts feeling awful because he can't remember as much as he used to, and the elephants reminded him of that;

KickinChicken: "Is that a CHICKEN outside", he yells one day when, indeed, a random chicken just appears outside. Yoinks her, shows her off to the other toys, somehow the chicken does NOT get mad at him. 10/10, when the family moves out to the farm he becomes the chicken master.

Picky Piggy: Sees a pig for the first time when Angel is trying to get some pigs for the farm. Her eyes stop on a very big and chonky one that's feeling a bit grumpy. She chuckles at it, thinks it's cute;

Craftycorn: "IS THAT A HORSE??????", immediately starts stimming because she had recently become obsessed with My Little Pony (gen3), the horse is gentle and she thinks it's because he liked her, then MLL shows off the fact that she's the bigger horse girl;

Bobby Bearhug: At the zoo, she points at the bears, looking very excited. Rabie asks her if those are her cousins, she says yes. They're fluffy! She prefers her plushies, though;

Hoppy Hopscotch: "Heh, Kickin, check THIS out", grabs a rabbit from some bushes, it immediately bites her and she yells "YOU LITTLE SHIT". Immediate beef;

NIGHTMARE CRITTERS:

Baba Chops: Angel brings to the farm a small herd of sheep, Baba leaves the house to observe them and they immediately surround her on their confusion. After long, horrifying minutes of her being dead silent, Baba decides to call for help despite her ego telling her not to. She starts to like the farm sheeps and encourages them to be bratty, but she legit thought those sheep would destroy her the first time;

Rabie Baby: [incoherent screaming] "MOM, THERE'S A BAT IN MY BEDROOM! MOM! MOOOOM!" [more incoherent screaming], girlie did NOT like having a bat at her room at ALL;

Maggie Mako: "Y'all, that's cousin Bruce", she says, pointing to the aquarium's shark. "Heeeey Bruce", starts trying to mimic him, much to the other's amusement;

Poe: They see there's crows around the region, and Delight tells them about how smart crows are and how one can befriend them. Poe makes it their life mission to befriend ALL the crows in the region, thus becoming the Crow Monarch;

Simon Smokes: He sees one (1) small lizard at the house shortly after first moving out of the hospital, GRABS the creature, scares Rabie and Bobby, then tells it to grow and become a big dragon like him;

Touille: Already used to the rats around PlayCo, never liked them at ALL because of all the competition for food and them biting him more than once. Genuinely does NOT like rats;

Allister Gaster: Sees an alligator at the zoo, nods and merely moves along. Not impressed, not surprised, and not disappointed, just a big old "hm, cool" from him!

BONUS:

Marie Long Legs: Actively tried to take care of the spiders inside PlayCo, and made sure to always save spiders from the other toys after everyone leaves;

Ollie: HATES spiders with a passion, genuinely only trusts MLL to take care of them. He may or may not have a small case of arachnophobia;

Yarnaby: EXCITEDLY jumps up and down when he sees an IRL lion for the first time, he's just SO happy your honor;

Pianossaurus: Very, very snobby about the fact so many people adore dinossaurs IRL, but he has a soft spot for all lizards and chickens. Sees a chicken for the first time and is just (happy noises);
