As far as I am considered, there's two versions of Jason Todd.

There is the Crime Lord singlehandedly building a new community in Gotham's darkest depths, fighting to protect his people with every means available, including killing the people that are preying on them if that's the best option to stop them.

There is the All Caste only Magic Bat version that is also killing people and things when that's the best option but focuses on the sort of Eldritch horrors even magic users don't want to touch.

As far as I am concerned, any version of Jason who thinks Batman was right and that killing is always wrong is bullshit.

Regulating a wild pack of children is hard. So when Scotty has to herd all approximately-ten of his little ones through an open-air market without losing too much money, it's a bit of a feat. Still, though, it's getting done just fine for a while, in which a while is defined as five minutes. After five minutes, Wolf starts disappearing and Mara chases him because she's the only one who can and Sam and Kevin are the only ones holding his hands, which is weird because Kevin keeps losing his sunglasses and Sam keeps having to find them again. It's a bloody mess, that's all there is to it.

So when they're a few meters from the exit where the road opens up and will give Scotty a semblance of order, it's a little freaky when he sees Thom holding onto a strange woman and crying. Just a little.

He bulls his way over to the woman and gives her a nasty look, risking letting go of his current children in order to scoop Thom up into his arms. The boy's really too big for this, and he's starting to sprout fur while fear spikes, but there's not much else of a choice to detach him from whoever the hell this is.  

"Who're you? Why do you have my- son?"

Charleah counted in her head as the movements came rather naturally to her. Still she stopped about halfway through the routine to scold herself and start again, speaking to a pale man leaning against the grainy bark of a tree.

“Ugh! I am so out of fucking practice!” She complained, walking back to the starting position and pointing her toe.

Chaîne, Chaîne, Grande Jete... FUCK!

The lavender haired woman stomped her foot with irritation. Finally the man spoke. <<Well now...that you are all..danced out. Can we focus on...the list for..>> He peered up and down the path. <<Charleah.>>

“Yes I know. I sense it too.” She grinned, “I’ve been waiting for someone to find us!” Charleah called out. The man face palmed.

<<We will never get... today’s reaping ...done if we dawdle Char...>>

“Shut up Maurice you might scare it away.” She scolded with a cluck of her tongue. Soon she ran over to the oncoming aura flower crown bouncing happily in her lavender locks hardly hiding herself.

“Hi there!”
