Pick the Plot Theory

-WARNING- THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR STORY THIEVES: SECRET ORIGINS -WARNING-

🔴DEBUNKED🔴

What if Kara is Bethany, but a reincarnation of her? I mean, it makes sense, and i haven’t even read the book yet. At the end of Secret Origins, Bethany becomes a ball of light, and explodes in order to take down The Dark. Nobody said that Bethany won’t be coming back. I quote Nobody here, “And as much as I’d like to agree with you, Ms. EarthGirl, unfortunately Bethany won’t be coming back. Quite the sacrifice she made, though. Saved her father’s hometown, her world, everything. Pity she’ll not be around to enjoy it.” 

Nobody never actually said she was dead, but he actually kinda danced around that. she could easily be Kara in the Pick The Plot Book with Owen. Maybe Kara doesn’t even realize she is Bethany, cuz somehow her memories were erased, and filled with fake ones. James, if you see this… am i right?

STORY THIEVES APPRECIATION WEEK: FAVORITE BOOK

Okay, I couldn’t decide between Secret Origins or Pick the Plot.

Secret Origins, we get to learn about Bethany’s parents, and also we get a lot of Gwen content and I love her so so much.

Pick the Plot, we get to meet Kara and also it was my first time reading an actual Choose Your Own Adventure book, and I enjoyed that!

Well I feel silly...

So @relatable-books just informed me that Worlds Apart is out. And here I went and made a theory on it ("Has Nobody Created another Owen"). Weird, for some reason I thought it was supposed to be released in May... Well , I guess I will just go spend $25 on hundreds of tree slices that have been marked by a great storyteller... Bye, until the next theory!

Has Nobody Created a new Owen?

Okay,so... Anyone who has read Pick-The-Plot knows how it ends. We're given a choice to have Owen go with Kara, or have him go back to the 'nonfictional' world. So, if you choose the option where Owen goes to the nonfictional world, obviously the story will continue as it is meant to. However, if he goes and lives in Kara's world, he grows to be an adult. So now we have Owen in the Nonfictional world, and an Owen in Kara's world. So, if The Owen from Kara's world finds a way out( as an adult, because we know it has to happen after the fight with the Countess, since that is an unknown time. We know everything that happens before that.), then it is possible for Adult Owen to possibly help younger Owen who is in the Nonfictional world. They could team up and take down Nobody.

Another thing, I don't think the characters are going to die. Think about it. Johnathan Potterhouse had the same plan. Make the characters die. However it just so happens that his own characters broke out and forced him to change the storyline. Will history repeat itself?🤔

Anyway, with this in mind, maybe we can hypothesize how the fifth book will be.
