it’s been hot as hell in philly these last two weeks, like 90° with 80% humidity, and i’ve been making myself dill pickle lemonade and it has been life saving. it’s sweet. it’s refreshing. it has electrolytes. you need it in your life.
grab a jar that’s anywhere between 25 and 32 oz.
cut up a single lemon and throw it in that jar.
add 1-3 tablespoons of sugar (depending on your sweetness preference)
muddle the lemon and sugar well (i’ve been using a wooden spoon for this)
fill with ice and water
add 2 oz of dill pickle juice
stir or put the lid on the jar and shake a few times
enjoy!
