I need you to know that this is the worst book I've attempted to read all year and there were twenty seven people ahead of me on the hold list with our library having purchased a single ebook copy, and I somehow ended up receiving it on release day

I assume because that many people had opened it, read the first twelve pages, and returned it just like I did.

It's so blatantly an acquisition made in the face of romcoms and sports romances trending two years ago that it's almost laughable. Someone really sat there in the Berkeley offices and said, "a hypersexual slapstick pickleball romance where we make dick jokes every five seconds and the main characters have sex in a car thirty minutes after meeting each other because one climbed on the other's lap to help him undo his seatbelt? Great idea."

I don't even know who the audience for it is, it's just a curse on humanity, and I will let any and everyone know that the audiobook will probably be involved in some US torture scandal in five years time.
