Finished Project Hail Mary. What an absolutely adorable read! I loved every second of it.

If you are someone who has been complaining about how so many books force romantic love into every plot and not enough focus on platonic love, then this is the book for you!

And if you're not one of those people, read it anyways! It's a good time. I was honestly not expecting it to be a feel good story.

Synopsis:

Limerence: the state of being infatuated or obsessed with another person, typically experienced involuntarily and characterized by a strong desire for reciprocation of one's feelings.

Christian,

a recovering schizophrenic adapting back into her home-life after coming back from the psychiatric hospital, meets a very obscure type character, Ellie, labeled a felon by her peers. The two of them grow closer and eventually Christian comes to meet Ellie’s friend Riley, who seems to have a secret to hide behind his picture-perfect life. As she begins to uncover his secrets, she realizes Ellie has secrets of her own. When she finds out who Ellie really is, she does everything in her power to keep their gruesome secrets safe. In the end, is Christian better or worse than her enemies?

i love being a reader guys. bc wdym non-readers dont get the feeling of their fave series coming back or the that their fave author is writing a new book?? i literally cannot imagine it.

the colouring sucks lowkey but i accidentally did the key frames before i fixed it so i had to use a stupid amount of filters to try and fix it 😭

a basic ahh edit while i try and think of something better guys see: im not okay after fearless 😭😭
