#pickup ability

I always live going through emerald with pick up mons so I have many useful items either for gym battles or the end of the game. Examples are rare candies for leveling up stuff on my main emerald save or hyper potions. I have 6 amd have used them many times already and haven't needed to buy any. Also picking up proteins is great as well for either selling or wanting to ev and not needing to buy them in order to do less battles. Once I have the equipment to record my GameCube I want to steam this game and just chill with ya'll. Might use twitch to see if I get more viewers compared to YouTube.

I feel less guilty about hoarding Meowths since their Pickup Ability is not only something they’ll “grow out of” and I can get Really Cool Shit (like a “free” sunstone it nicked from some poor fool well before I’d need it or can even buy it)...but it’s legit the pokemon version of every pet parent’s “What’s that you got in your mouth, Meowth?!”

(Most recently? A repel. Guess she stole it from Lillie.)

edit: it keeps picking up almost nothing but full restores, rare candies, nuggets, and i even got a couple pp ups on both ruby and sapphire. pickup is way better in r/s than emerald haha

So I just finished the first island with my shiny team in Moon and my shiny HA pikipek has already grabbed me a Destiny Knot and a Leftovers with its Pickup ability. I almost don't want to evolve it now.
