Guyyyyyys I just found out about the coolest damn thing I ever heard of, Pico-8, a digital game console where ppl make tiny retro accurate games and share them online, a lot like Itchio but the coolest part is the game carts are saved as pngs, you load the picture of the game and that CONTAINS the game. Its so damn cool I'm trying a ton of them right now and I dunno if they're full experiences or just bite sized baby's-first-games but some have beautiful art and again the fact they load from a png blows my mind, its like magic to me honestly. Check it out!

In case you missed it, in November I made "IT 2: They/Them," a sequel to Stephen King's IT

in which Pennywise is going through a bad breakup and approaches the Losers Club for help retrieving its record collection from its ex, They/Them. It's an open world turn-based puzzle platformer and takes about an hour to finish.

Yarn Cat

This is the game I was making throughout 2024, and have been nervously overthinking releasing, you can play it in your browser here.

Yarn Cat is a slow oldschool puzzle game about a mysterious cat that is somehow also a ball of yarn, travelling through odd lands to bring love to other cats. This is my first pico-8 game, and the first game I've made in about 20 years.

Through 66 levels across 8 worlds, your goal is use your body and the yarn tail you leave behind to interact with buttons, fairies, and frogs in just the right sequence to magically awaken a sleeping cat and give them a nuzzle. But your tail might also get in the way and block your path, so experiment, mess around, and maybe try to think ahead!
