Not homestuck, i know, the horror, how dastardly. This is actually about speculative biology which apparently I’m into now. You may get some sketches of my own aliens in future. These are from biblaridion’s alien biospheres series. What? fanart of something obscure enough to need credit?
Anyway, this was also an experiment with value. If you apply a greyscale filter (one that doesn’t suck) you’ll find that it’s all the same value. Turns out that using varying values is really important to make your art look good. And to the ability to use yellow.
