Yamato/Alcor (UreYama) | send me a ship and I will tell you:
when of if I started shipping it: Tbh, at first, I thought my OTP was gonna be HibiYama…haha. I think I started shipping UreYama more than usual ever since I started rp with my friend as Yamato (Ojiisan, I miss your Alcor—). It wasn’t anything shippy though, angst as hell lmfao. From there, I started looking into stuff about them more and found myself shipping them harder despite how the ship made me maji sad 1000%.
my thoughts: I FEED ON SAD FEELS TO LIVE. Omfg most of my OTPs are dead OTPs so I really believed I already got used to it until UreYama 8|. These two are just…. At least most of my OTPs would only have conflicts at certain times. While Yamato and Alcor, despite having such sweet(?) past together, they grew up to the point either of them must die for the other to live. Maybe because of how tragic the ship is, I just fell for it without regret.
What makes me happy about them: Chess scene, bittyYamato and Alcor, the past between these two is always something that I love with all my heart ;-;. Although maybe not all the headcanons are true, a lot of them was true as we’ve seen in the anime (as far as I know, the staff who made the game also confirmed most of them are canon). Alcor treating Yamato as ‘human’ even with his awkward weird gestures and Yamato, I like to think he actually had some respect and attachment toward Alcor ;v;;;;. ALSO ALCOR SAYING YAMATO WAS HIS …first… friend…./cries a lot ;_;
What makes me sad about them: It was Alcor’s fault that Yamato turned out that way and it was also that dumb star who left him first. I think that made me sad a lot but I don’t really blame Alcor;;. At some point, maybe even Alcor wouldn’t expect his leaving would hurt Yamato in one way or another. What makes me sadder is Yamato’s attitude toward Alcor later on, after Alcor stopped calling him Shinning One. Like hey, you are his ex-waifu alright but why are you treating Alcor so badly, you might hurt him with your words and dont you assumed a Sword of Polaris doesnt have feelings 8|||||!!!!. But then again, Yamato is just as awkward as Alcor in expressing himself anyway ahaha;;. No one ever taught him to be “nice" so I guess it couldn’t be helped….I think for this one, I will just say “WHAT ISN’T SAD ABOUT THEM…………………"
things done in fanfic that annoys me: None…I guess. Ureyama fanfic are rare as fuq— …orz"""" I appreciate every single one that I came across ;_;
things I look for in fanfic: Skinship…….and some other kinks of mine but let’s not go there…

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Hibiki would be my first choice for both of them. I’m actually okay with Yamato/Io too haha….
My happily ever after for them: Please.stop.dying.in.each.other.route. Really, as long as both of them lived, I could at least come up with headcanons, but when either or both of them died………………………………/lays down and cries. Wanting either of them to change (especially Yamato) is the same as destroying their characters so I don’t really…think about it
who is the big spoon/little spoon: I like to think Yamato is the big spoon but idk, he is really awkward with such concept, while Alcor has been watching human for a long time, he might fit that role a…bit….just a little bit…more LOL.
what is their favorite non-sexual activity: See DeSu2 the animation episode 12………………………. Okay, and playing Chess. Alcor watching Yamato sleeping.
