So I was talking to some friends earlier today at school about something that I just remembered
It was about some kind of video game plot I guess?
Like, basically, you have your main character, a completely ordinary person living a mundane life (maybe just a high school student?), which is turned completely upside down when something fantastical happens. Maybe monsters show up and you're thrown into some fantasy world idk this conversation was literally five minutes long.
Basically, when you start out the game and get to your first fight, you have to choose from the only weapons you can find, including an umbrella, a bat, the knives in the kitchen, and some other stuff you can find that are useful weapons. When the battle starts, your fighting stance is terrible and your attacks are sub par.
As you continue with the game, though, you can see that the player is learning and their skills are slowly getting better. No upgrades to the player except for leveling up and stat-improving accessories and armor. The weapon you choose in the beginning is your motif for the rest of the game, and you get better weapons as you progress through the game (like, an umbrella with blades on it //shrug).
Yeah that's all I got. I thought some of you would've liked to know about it
