It makes me beyond emotional to put up this picture... I’m not mentioning this for pity or sympathy but just because I feel I owe my followers transparency and a little awareness about my life... when this picture was taken a few months ago by my lovely team @picture.dope @j.a.y_end and my assistaánt @karo_for_life I felt I was in the biggest turning point of my life. - My career was great, school was great, and I FELT great. I didn’t think nothing could ever go wrong... until I did it to myself. I overworked myself without considering to love myself and my own body... I just wanted to work, work, work. Whether it meant school, work, or just blogging. I never rested, and now my body prevailed to me that I need to put myself over everything. Nevertheless, I was born with something called VasoVagal Syncope, in other terms a chronic form of fainting where you have no control of it. Throughout these few weeks God has shown me that he wants me on this Earth, because in less than a month I’ve had 4 accounts where I thought I was going to lose my life. If I didn’t have the support of my family I wouldn’t be where I am today, or writing this post for that matter. Today, I see life in a new light. I am grateful to be alive and well, nevertheless, I want to send a message to ALL of my loved ones... to please take care of YOURSELF, listen to your body when it sends you signals, and don’t compare your work ethic or your potential to others, because you are your own person. The same way we have different time zones, we all work and live in different levels. - When you are born, you are born alone and when you leave this Earth, you leave alone as well. Therefore, YOU IS ALL THAT MATTERS. Just something I wanted to share, because I care about so many of you and I would hate to see anyone for that matter in my position.
