Some interesting tidbits from the holiday weekend... 3 separate patients.
ACT- (activated clotting time). Abnormally high after a cardiac cath. Have never actually seen one this high!
Head CT: large embolic stroke with hemorrhagic conversion and large anoxic injury. Went for a hemi-crani.
EKG- a mess of st- elevations in a patient with a tandem heart, iabp, continuous dialysis and 3 pressors. They had “fixed” the RCA already... 👀
