had a migraine the other day and when the pain and nausea and vertigo finally faded i was seized with the unstoppable need to make something.
so i crocheted a pie potholder for my kitchen!!
i followed the berry pie potholder pattern by SpareRoomArtsShop on etsy, i used the michael's loops and threads classic cotton yarn in burgundy and twine, and i worked the whole piece using a 5mm hook. :)
the loops and threads classic cotton yarn is SO rough and SO scratchy but i knew that before i bought it, i specifically wanted a rough and sturdy 100% cotton yarn since the potholder will be subjected to hot things like pies and pots and pans resting on it.
i had a lot of fun making this one!! i'm already working on a second one in blue(berry), and i have an experimental third in purple where i'm testing out different stitches!!
