“Pied Shield Bug” (Tritomegas bicolor)
...a species of burrowing bug (Cydnidae) that is known to occur across North Africa, Europe and Central Asia. However, it becomes rarer in the more northern parts of its range, especially the British Isles where it is absent from Scotland and Ireland. True to its family name T. bicolor is often found on the ground but is also common on or around its host plants, Lamium spp. and Ballota nigra.
