WELCOME to @whiteletterbeauty !! Your new found beauty space⦠Letās kick things off with a look at my newest beauty obsession⦠@beautypie. This high end, beauty buyers club (think the āNetflix of beauty š¤ā) lets you buy top quality products from some of the best beauty labs across the world, for a fraction of the retail price. For all the info about memberships, how it works and how to join, visit https://www.beautypie.com/ For my first slice of the pie, I opted for these four lovelies⦠Japanfusion Pure Transforming Cleanser / 100ml / Ā£7 / TP* Ā£25 Japanfusion Supreme Cream / 50ml / Ā£12.74 / TP Ā£70 Superactive Capsules Pure Vitamin C & Vitamin E Serum / 60 X 0.3ml / Ā£ 10.86 / TP Ā£50 Superdrops High Intensity Hydration / 30ml / Ā£10.68 / TP Ā£50 All-Rounder Double Cosmetic Pencil Sharpener / Ā£4.88 / TP Ā£5 *TP = Typical Retail Price if sold in stores āØJapanfusion Pure Transforming Cleanser >>>>> I have sensitive, normal-dry skin so I often stick to pretty boring cleansers that do the job without heavy fragrances, drying alcohols etc. This cleanser is fragrance free and has a gorgeous thick gel-cream texture that emulsifiers into a light milky lotion on contact with water which is such a joy to use. It really feels expensive. Beauty Pie states that this cleanser will remove āall traces of makeup easily (including waterproof mascara)ā which I donāt disagree with but I personally wouldnāt solely use this to remove makeup and SPF. I prefer it as a second cleanse or morning cleanse and would use a cleansing balm or micellar water as a first cleanse to really get your skin squeaky clean. In terms of ingredients, the top ingredients on the list all appear to be good for the skin with the body of the cleanser consisting of emollient ingredients. One of the best ingredients for the skin, TOCOPHEROL, is a source of vitamin E which is good for antioxidant protection and deep skin moisturisation. Overall, Iām loving using this cleanser and find myself reaching for it time after time. More will be purchased and I would definitely recommend it! Japanfusion Supreme Cream >>>>> This moisturiser is STUNNING⦠I have seen a visible difference in my skins hydration within just two applications š²! AND even though it has a little fragrance added, Iām getting no sensitivity from it at all šš» Woohoo! I do use vitamin A products so I will have to check if the ingredients are at all irritating if my skin barrier is slightly compromised, so watch this space! The smell itself is light and is neither too fruity or too floral. As for ingredients, the top 8 (the bulk of your product) are packed with good skin food with butyrospermum parkii (shea butter) serving as one of the best skin replenishing emollients. At 50ml for under Ā£13, youāre definitely getting bang for your buck here in terms of a good, skin-prepping, moisturiser. I will probably use this more in the morning teamed with a serum underneath. One thing I would say is that the product doesnāt appear to have a high ceramide content but maybe that is because they have a lot of separate ceramide products on offer? Which I will try :-p. All in all, Iām simply loving this so far⦠I definite #fabfind I will continue onto other posts for the remaining products after I have used them for a couple of weeks but overall, Iām VERY impressed with the feel and quality of ALL of these products. On first impressions, thereās nothing from this haul I didnāt like š®! As the brand grows, Iām really interested to see what new things they will bring to the table in terms of sustainability as many of the products have recycleable components and some are even biodegradable⦠very cool.
