Though I personally really like Gabriel, I think some fans do tend to gloss over what he put Sam through. He ended up growing more as a character in Season 5, but before then, he didn't give a crap about who he hurt as long as he got amusement out of it. In Tall Tales, he pretty much molested that kid and everyone seems to forget that :/ I love him best in fanon, and I'd like to explore his character more in the show (though I doubt it'll happen).

I think he did kind of step up to the plate more in season 5. But Gabriel is a bully. That's basically how I will always see him
