Having a tongue piercing makes blowing bubbles with chewing gum absaloutly impossible, and that is the saddest part about having a tongue piercing :(

A short story:

A stranger makes eye contact with me from across a crowded store.

I see something flicker in their eyes and they begin walking towards me.

Uncomfortable, I turn and begin to walk away. I steal a glance.

They’re running towards me now, shoving people and tables out of the way.

Terrified, I run.

Across the world, through many obstacles, the stranger chases me, always gaining, always gaining.

Finally, after years, I collapse.

I can run no more.

I brace myself, expecting death.

They lean close, gesture at my face, and say: “Hey, did that hurt?”
