[When Pierre had decided to set this hot cocoa stand up he had been warned by several townsfolk to watch out for a man with blonde hair and blue eyes– since Pierre was an impatient man and didn’t want to go thought the hassle of having to buy himself a permit to do so. He didn’t really NEED one- right?]

Yep, a new batch just finished sir–

[Turning around and looking up at the newcomer he swallows hard, laughing nervously under his breath.]

… is there a specific flavor you’d like– uh, we have… peppermint or hazelnut… vanilla bean… so many flavors, because we are a completely legitimate business!

*Gill would be lying if the emphasis on “completely legitimate” made him a bit suspicious. He raises an eyebrow. What could this young man be up to?*

Is that so? I suppose I’ll take a “completely legitimate” peppermint flavor, then.

Oh, Ivan! [Pierre stands from the table, waiting for the man to approach before giving him a warm hug, smiling from him to the carrier.]

I meant to send a card with congratulations! I heard from Dirk you had welcomed someone new into your home~! ♥

– ah? Oh no, I actually have this week off, believe it or not. It’s some time I’ve… I’ve definitely needed. Life has been rather hectic lately, ahahaha.

*Annalise tries to greet the man with a series of babbles*

*Smiles warmly, gratefully accepting the hug* Oh, thank you, Pierre. Annalise here has been enjoying her new home. *He chuckles* She certainly wants to explore, though it’s a bit sad watching her try so hard to move somewhere or reach something she can’t quite yet. She’s very ambitious for her age, I guess you could say.

Is that so? Have you done anything particularly exciting on your week off?

[Walking back for the evening to rest at the Inn he spots young man walking the opposite way and stops him in his tracks.] I just needed to tell you, I absolutely adore your hat! Where on earth did you get it?!

/As he walks along, he hums quietly to himself, but he stops when someone calls out to him/

/He smiles at the other...individual. He’s not sure whether “man” or “boy” applies/

You, sir, have excellent taste. However, I can’t be giving away all of my secrets. Part of my appeal is being a man shrouded in mystery, save for my expressions of love to the maidens of this wondrous world of ours.

Why is it that you ask, though? Your hat is quite eye-catching, and it matches your suit...something that mine certainly wouldn’t do at all.

Don’t Eat the Treats || Agate & Pierre

[By the time the young lady was only half way through her speech Pierre had already opened the bag of treats and popped one in his mouth, not knowing they were for animals- but he stops at the end, giving a shocked look at the girl, and then at the bag of treats.]

How could you feed animals something so bland?

[She isn’t put off at all by the fact that he had opened the bag of treats and ate one (she finds herself eating them every so often too since she keeps some in her pocket.) When he speaks, she blinks, tilting her head curiously.]

Bland? What do you mean, they don’t taste good?

[dannysgroceries]

... hmph. [Picking up products and putting them down again Pierre scours the shelves in Rosetta's shop, searching endlessly for something] ... where would they be? [Approaching the counter, and Danny, he waits for the man to have a moment to speak with him.] Hi, hello, good morning and all that- I was wondering, do you sell eggs? I need about fourteen dozen of them.

[Danny watches as the customer comes in. He watches him browse the store, biting back the bad habit of asking if he’s going to buy anything. In the meantime, he restocks the shelf behind him. When he turns around, he answers the customer’s question.] Morning- I mean, welcome. Yeah, we sell eggs here… Did you say fourteen dozen?

[Standing outside the younger woman's shop, when he notices her start to approach he waves his arms wildly.] Ma'am! Do you have a moment? [Rolling his suitcase behind him, and clutching his cell phone in the other he sighs, obviously looking very distraught.] I'm trying to find the Inn but I'm getting absolutely no reception on my phone and can't pull up maps-- can you point me in the right direction?

[Before Rosetta could grab the box of chalk from the counter, she turns around to see the stranger who called out. She nods and forms a friendly smile, walking over to the boy at the door.] Of course I do! ♫

[She listens attentively to his explanation, nodding along to his words. Rosetta takes a few steps outside of the store, not too far from the door.] Sunshine Inn is right over there! [Points directly to their right, which locates the Inn’s building.]
