In the pantheon of children's book illustrators, for me #pierreprobst is at the very top. And I'm not exaggerating when I say that Caroline was one of my best friends as a child. My youngest daughter is named after this old friend. I carried the Golden Book Treasury of #carolineandherfriends with me for decades, until the pages fell out and were scattered to the winds. On the 2nd hand market the book approaches $1k when available. So it was with great delight that I opened this Christmas gift from my mom - the entire book on CD. Now downloaded to Google Drive where I can again visit these long lost friends.
