2. Flow Meter

Water Flow Meter is an instrument to measure the consumption of water. It is used by different industries, apartments, malls, etc. There are different types of Water Flow Meter such as:

I.Electromagnetic Flow Meter

The Electromagnetic Flow Meter accurately measures the flow rate of any conducting liquid or slurry that is flowing in closed pipes. It is obstruction less and hence offers no pressure drop in the process. The absence of moving parts ensures that there is no need for maintenance. The performance of the instrument is not affected by the properties of the material such as corrosiveness, viscosity, density, acidity, and alkalinity. III.Mechanical Water Meter

Mechanical flow meters measure flow by using an arrangement of moving parts, either by passing specific, known volumes of a fluid through a series of gears or chambers or by means of a spinning turbine or rotor in an arrangement called a turbine flow meter. The mechanical types of water flow meters work by measuring the speed of water flowing through the pipe that causes a piston or turbine to rotate. The volumetric flow rate of the water is proportional to the rotational speed of the blades.

IV. Velocity Meter

V. Open Channel Flow Meter
