"Hey, thanks!" Alvin takes the candy and unwraps it as if he's going to eat it, but hesitates instead. "Ah... Wait... How do I make sure this isn't poisoned?"
Hmmm, well I realize that children aren't supposed to walk off with strangers. Would you mind then if I stayed here until you ran into someone you know? I don't feel right leaving you alone...
Alvin nodded softly. "You seem nice enough so... Sure. If anything bad happens, I'll just run away."
That's when he sat down on the floor, plush still in his arms as he simply sighed and buried his face into the top of the cat's head.
Oh dear. No parents? *smiles* Then the Cat plushie will protect you. Is there someone I can contact for you?
"Ah... Okay." He hugged the Cat plush tightly, mostly because it reminded him of one of his pets. "I don't know you could get the attention of anyone I know... There's my bird but he's not known for being that fast..."
"Alvin.... I was wondering, uhm... if you had time to play a game with me."
Alvin walked up with the cat plush in hand, glaring at Tipo slightly before he looked over to Elize with a smile.
"S...Sure... Wh... What sort of game do you want to play?"
"Hey Alvin, I was wondering if you've see--" He stops, looking at the child standing in front of him already recognizing who he was supposed to be. "Does this mean I have to take care of myself? I won't be a good parent."
"Yeah, I know."
The little kid felt anxiety bubble up in his chest attempting to sass like he used to, but at the same he couldn't help it with what came out of his twin's mouth.
"I... I think Ivar... would do better... taking care of me... Hhh..."
At the same time, he was glad he found someone he recognizes, running up to the other before he grabbed onto his leg.
Oh little boy, are you lost? *pulls out a stuffed cat plushie* Would this make you feel better? *to herself* where are his parents?
Rust-colored eyes widened as soon as he saw the plush, and he eagerly snatched it from the gray mask despite the fact he should be wary of such people. He snuggled it for a few moments before the question of parents came up, his mood deflating quickly as he looked down at the floor.
"Um..." He trailed off, his voice soft. "I... I don't have any parents. Not anymore, anyhow."
