More tales from the allotment. Story so far: This has been Dad's allotment for more than 60 years. Uncle David's allotment is next door. He is Dad's brother and is sitting in that great allotment in the sky watching his pigeons come home. Dad has been looking after 2 allotments. He is clearing his out and he is going to keep Uncle Dave's which is smaller. He is 82. He is an expert on local wildlife and he couldn't remember the word for 'magpie'. He is talking to a baby woodpigeon which is lost and frightened on the ground. Notice how everything is made from old crap. Always loved that garage door fence. All the allotments have them.
