I don't have a picture of any pigeons, but in the summer and fall when I'm driving home along the freeway after work, I drive past the same small flock of pigeons in flying in a 30 bird mumuration. And when it's the right season for them to catch the light of the sun in the golden hour, I can take 5 seconds to enjoy the beauty instead of being annoyed by my fellow commuters being dumb around on and off ramps, and it's one of the best parts of my day.

In return I offer you one of my favourite things: when there is a dark cloudbank in one direction, but bright angled sun on the other side of the sky, and there are white gulls whose undersides catch the light and it goes like this:
