I remember that it started with an almost kiss between Lily and James while drunk in a camping trip(or quidditch world cup?) and that james had sex with a friend. Ok so I started watching HIMYM last December, so I didn't have to wait 9 years for such s suckish ending. I, as most fans, instantly felt that Robin and Barney have something special. The way I see the ending, Robin is still crushed about her divorce with Barney, hence the reason for her to travel and not be around her friends (Ted's old history when she makes that decision) and she isn't able to attend the birth of Barney's daughter, but she can attend Ted's wedding. He will always be 2nd choiz

I started watching August 2013, and I was so excited to be a part of this season. And I was just crushed. I think that makes sense. A part of her still loves Barney, but she is completely over Ted (EXCEPT IN THE LAST FEW MOMENTS EXCUSE ME)
