To Faith, Fergus was a much a sibling to her as Brianna was, even if there was no blood tying them. She’d grown up with him protecting her like all big brothers did and she had followed him around just like all annoying younger siblings did. And just like all younger siblings, she virtually worshipped the ground the young French man walked on. He could do no wrong in her eyes and she could never see him as the bad guy. Not now. Not ever. 

She reached out a hand and squeezed his arm, a smile flitting across her lips.
