The Pika Edition special Yona Volume 40 + artbook arrived today! 😊 This was my first time ordering from Amazon France and it worked out well for me.

Can’t wait to look at all of the art and I really like the shade of red used for both book spines.

Also, found it fun that I have Yona in 3 languages now! 😊 at first I thought the French version was the same height as the Japanese but it is actually slightly taller.

Pika Edition announced 3 new sub-collections for its shoujo catalog:

- Cherry Blush: “1st love” stories

- Purple Shine: magic and fantasy

- Red Light: hot romance

They cited Ema Tôyama, Mizuho Kusanagi and Kanoko Sakurakouji as prominent artists for each collection. They’ll use the new logos for the upcoming new series only (so the Yona covers will stay the same till the end) and said they’d publish 3 new works every 3 months.

They mentioned Yona twice in their post. I’m pretty sure it means 1) AnY is among their most popular fantasy shoujo series & 2) NG Life is very likely to be licensed soon in France.
