I'm just gonna take a guess here and say Ludwig left his home because his parents were verbally abusive and purposely continued to call him a girl. Causing the poor child to have major gender dysphoria

((OOC: That actually was totally the first draft of why he left home! Well at least 75% of the reason why he left. The other 25% was because he felt he deserved better than a middle class home full of heathens.

After some discussion though, many of the koopalings’ backstories have mellowed out quite a bit, including Ludwig’s. >:0! Rather than being totally against the idea of him being trans, he’s actually unaware of how his parents would have reacted.

He finally had had enough, and ended up going through with this impulsive (but ultimately needed) flashback incident where he cut his hair by himself. But you know when you’re kid and you do something you know you shouldn’t have and you have to sleep with the tumultuous guilt knowing the next morning ya’ mama’s gonna rip you a new one emotionally?

Yeah that exact thing happened. She never got an answer out of him as to why he did so, but scolded him pretty harshly for it. Which kinda instilled in him “This is probably wrong and I’m never doing it again”, unknowingly causing some major problems down the line with it being associated with his transness (in addition to society-driven gender dysphoria).

So that was a pretty big reason why he bailed!

The other reason why he left is because of these guys.

Who are his… coincidentally seven OTHER siblings he had before the next nerds. And Ludwig, being the pretentious self-absorbed douchebag he is (even at the age of five) decided that he was not getting enough attention since it was being split between 8 people.

And wow is he in for a surprise a few years down the line.

So overall! His story is now maybe 1/3rd the mom incident, 1/3rd “I need more eyes on me”, and 1/3rd “I deserve better”. Which “better” happened to be literally a king’s castle. Go big or go home. And he wasn’t going home.))

Maybe it's just me, but for some reason I get a real queerplatonic relationship vibe from your adorable characters, Winter and Autumn. Pretty sure it's just me, though.😅

Yes! Winter and Autumn are in a platonic relationship (Im kinda wary of using the term “queer” since some people consider it a slur idek) but yeah!.

You could say that Winter is Autumn’s “zucchini” hehehe.

I have a couple questions for Bowsario: 1, 3, 13, and 27, please.

Is that my OTP of OTPs? Yes, Bowsario!

1.) Who is the most affectionate? - Bowser, probably. Mario would be good, but Bowser would bend over backwards trying to please Mario, showering him with snuggles and precious gifts amassed on tender moments together. 

3.) Most common argument? - Something about motivations concerning the Mushroom Kingdom at large. 

Bowser: But Mario, if we just enslave the Toads, everything would work out!Mario: We are NOT enslaving Toads, Bowser!Bowser: How about conquest over their land?Mario: NO, Bowser! Now, enough, or I’m not going to dinner later.Bowser: *grumbles* Fine.

Something like that.

13.) Who reaches for the other’s hand first? - Mario, I’d wager. In multiple circumstances, be it to stop Bowser from throwing a punch, to calm him down when he’s too stressed, or just to be supportive and loving. Bowser would probably do this as well, but I feel that Mario would be quicker, since Bowser’s the one who has the uneven temperament, usually.

27.) Who would sing to their child back to sleep? - Bowser. Mario may be the better singer, but Junior is already used to Bowser’s voice. Plus, Bowser would know when and how to sing any kids of theirs back to sleep, being the more experienced dad from the get-go.

Quick question, why did Goggles and Rider start to switch ink colors when they were french kissing? Is it just an inkling thing that you headcanon?

There’s a headcanon out there that goes like “inklings mix ink colors when they have sex” but I like to think they can already do that the momment they have minimal physical contact, like a kiss, a hug or a nuzzle, since they’re completely made of ink.

I’ve already done this before, but I guess it was not as obvious.

Ahaha, you could be right! Kamek approves of Bowser’s relationship, but he does get a bit agitated over how far they can take it around him. He’s like a parent that doesn’t want to know about his kid even having a significant other, but then has to deal with them being in the same area constantly. 

Though, he also tends to get lost in his thoughts, having studied spells and scrolls for so many years. Without looking at Bowser or Mario, he might have actually been so sidetracked with his thoughts that he really had no idea when to stop talking. Ah, poor old Magikoopa, getting himself and his king in trouble.
