Unpopular opinion but I don’t actually think Nestor, Cal, and Techno are gonna win tomorrow. I’ve challenged them with an immediate disadvantage of being a team of 3 in a team of 4 event on 1.12... that’s gonna be really hard no matter how good they might be

I hope the CCs who are moving to tumblr know that a big part of the reason why this place is so nice is because we don’t have the kind of unrestricted access to CCs that fans get on twitter.

I’ll welcome them as wholeheartedly as I do every other twitter refugee but sophietexas, pikaclicks, and any other CC who happens to read this - I strongly urge you to keep anon asks off, not allow DMs, and if possible keep your askbox closed altogether most of the time and only open it when you specifically feel like talking to people.

tumblr is a chill place because the boundaries between fan and CC have, up until now, been built in (because up until now there haven’t been any CCs publicly using the website). CCs reading this, I would ask you to help maintain those boundaries as much as possible however you can. again, I’m glad you’re here! biggest and most heartfelt congratulations for making it off the bird app! I’m just also very nervous you’ll bring the bird app with you, because I’ve seen this kind of thing happen before.

Hey CCs on Tumblr!! Please stay quiet about us especially on Twitter! We thrive because we are smaller and toxic fans are less likely to find themselves here. If the Twitter crowd invades us it’ll throw off the balanced ecosystem and there really isn’t another place like Tumblr out there

Of course the smaller the fanbase the less the worry of invasion, but I feel like this might ramp up to bigger and bigger CCs joining. Twitter is digging it’s own grave and we don’t want to go down with it
