Ooooookay, one more teeny tiny little thing
I realized something... So the pillarmen warm up to me and treat me as their own and I'm part of their family
There are some key points in the story that show the main bond with each of them (I might add Santana, I'll probably do a poll if we should bring him back or not. I kinda like him, he's cool)
For Esidisi, I comfort him and dry his tears (this is platonic because he's my father in law... (question mark? father in law because I'm dating Wamuu??? y...yes? yes.)) Esidisi really appreciates the attention and affection, because usually people will just ignore him when he cries because "that's just something Esi does"
For Kars, he saves me from some humans or something after I ran away because I was like, "I'll never be a real pillarman so what's the point?!" This scene shows that Kars cares for me like he cares for his husband and son. "You're family after all" is a big deal coming from somebody like Kars (same thing in parenthesis above)
And finally- (unless we all decide to add Santana into the mix), Wamuu catches me vent-training with my spear, I'm frustrated, angry, and holding back tears. He stops me and I accidentally end up hurting him. He takes my spear from me while I apologize profusely. This is when I end up sobbing and telling him about how I don't know who I really am because I don't remember anything prior to being taken in by the pillarmen. Pixie isn't even my "real" name, and I don't want to go back to the humans. Wamuu empathizes with me because he's hard on himself more than he is with anyone else. Even though I was lost... he found me. He couldn't leave me there in the desert to die. Wamuu saw something great in me, Esidisi saw something great in me, even Kars saw something great in me.
"Whatever your story prior to this... whether or not you were left for dead in the desert by a family who abandoned you, that matters not. We are your family now, Pixie."
Edit: I'm adding Santana because he's not gonna get left behind again!! 💪✨
