in the pilot john and sherlock are much more open, and something definitely happened after the end of the episode. for me, these rp blogs look like echoes of the canon with minor variations.

I’ve been following these blogs since the beginning and I don’t think you’ve been reading properly; they fucked. Literally fucked. No, they didn’t jump straight into bed after ASIP but they were a lot closer and more open than they were in the actual show. Like... a lot.

Intimacy and romance... it is more than just kissing and sex, you know? Something did happen after their first case; it just wasn’t kissing nor sex. It was something else. Something which could not be put into words and both Sherlock and John knew that. 

These writers just chose to have Sherlock and John grow towards each other instead of taking away the growth of a romantic relationship whilst still getting to know each other. And frankly; that feels a hell of a lot more natural than them having to jump into bed together straight off the bat.

How about you take the time to actually read something before commenting like this? The people who are doing this brought back the joy and love I once felt for this show and I am forever grateful to them, so I’m sorry, but you’ve entered the wrong askbox. I’ll tag, but I doubt I’ll be doing it consistently due to flailing.

Are you going to continue with season 2?

First, we want to apologise for not posting more since their night of nights, but one of the writers involved in this project has been unable to access the Internet.

We’ve been planning profusely and have been bouncing off ideas for weeks and we want to continue past series four if you all still want us to until then. We’re enjoying ourselves immensely and reading your response to our little outburst of creativity. 

So yes, as soon as the other writer has access to the internet again, we will continue writing. Let’s see how our boys will handle Miss Adler, the Hound and Moriarty...

@beejohnlocked damn Tumblr for still not having created a way to reply on mobile. But I don’t agree. They fell in love during those first days (both the pilot episode and in the blogs) but the headcanon that they immediately had sex always felt like a PWP to me. Which is fine. Just not for me. Johnlock is more than just kissing and sex. Hell, any romantic relationship is more than just kissing and sex.

And in any case, it took them a month (only one month!) to fall into bed with one another. Those blogs fixed what Mofftiss ruined for me by giving us more domesticity, more background and allowing them to communicate.

Oh well. I love those blogs and I’ll cherish them until the end. People can write what they like, based on what they like. I’m just worried that comments like the one I’ve received will make them stop writing. Criticism is all well and good but these blogs are obviously having fun while trying to fix what went wrong and giving us a new Johnlock story. Want to see it happen otherwise?

EDIT: You posted a second reply but my point still stands. To be fair, doing it like they're doing allows for a more extensive and longer story. And I'll prefer that any day over a one-shot.
